Austrian Post is beginning a €30m year-long rationalisation and efficiency programme aimed at reducing the cost of materials and operating expenses – not including staff costs – while maintaining customer service requirements and its obligation to provide universal postal services throughout the country.
It reports that the decision is in light of the global economy and to ensure the performance and competitiveness of the company.
