Vietnam to open telecom market in 2012

The Vietnamese Government plans to submit a telecommunications bill to the National Assembly this week that would allow any company to enter the telecommunications market.

The move is expected to create fierce competition on the market, say news reports.

Furthermore, Vietnam will open its telecommunications market to foreign companies in 2012 under its World Trade Organisation commitment.
