Global information services company, Experian, has appointed Javier Moreno Zabala (pictured below) as general manager for Experian CheetahMail in Spain.

He will be responsible for accelerating Experian CheetahMail’s growth in Spain and further strengthening its position as a major European provider of email marketing and customer intelligence technologies. Previously, he held senior sales and marketing positions within KLM, France Telecom, Recall Information Management and Dealing with People. More recently, he was the commercial director for Experian Marketing Services in Spain.

Commenting, Steve Lomax, director of Experian CheetahMail EMEA, said: “Email marketing is now recognised as one of the most successful tools for delivering effective and targeted customer communications; helping to protect organisations’ revenue and develop positive brand perception. Javier’s commercial experience will be a valuable asset as we continue to drive the CheetahMail business forward in Europe.”
