Forum to offer insight into doing business in China and Europe

March 29th, 2010 · No Comments

How to achieve business success in China and across Europe will be top of the agenda at the iDi Marketers Forum being staged in June.

International marketers will be congregating in New York City, June 15-16, for the annual event – which provides major networking opportunities as well as a top-level exchange of information among business associates from around the world.

The iDi (which stands for international, direct and interactive), is organised by DMI and this year is co-locating alongside the USA DMA’s DMDays conference and expo at the Hilton New York hotel, forming the international track of that Digital Marketing Days event (of which, more here: www.the-dma.org/conferences/dmdays10).

The iDi will offer a variety of expert sessions across the two days; all of them exploring an international theme. Case studies, presented by both the marketers and their clients, will shed light on China and Europe and their viability as regions for a successful post-recession global marketing focus.

International success will also be discussed by keynote speaker Cheryl Max, of IBM (director of functional capabilities in demand programs), while our own DMI columnist Ian Hughes will moderate a panel discussion on ‘What works and what’s waffle’, deciding whether social networking is simply not working for multi-national marketers. Later, panellists will debate ‘What the world needs now’; exploring the likelihood of more channels emerging as viable global marketing tools.

More information about the iDi, and registration details, can be found here: www.dmi-events.com
