Travel brands and advertising agencies are being challenged by TripAdvisor to design a creative ad campaign to run on its travel website, reaching millions of travellers worldwide.
The winning campaign will receive €250k in equivalent CPM advertising media value on TripAdvisor.
TripAdvisor says the innitiative offers the industry the chance showcase their creativity and talent through the highly interactive medium of online ad display and engage with a relevant audience, maximising their brand impact and media budgets.
Martin Verdon-Roe, director of sales, TripAdvisor, said: "The challenge gives travel brands the freedom to develop an engaging campaign that tells a story and shows what their brand really stands for, rather than just focusing on ROI."
All entries must be submitted by August 1st 2010 – the winning campaign will run on TripAdvisor between August and September. The competition is open to all travel brands and advertising agencies based in Europe. The campaigns will be judged by a panel of TripAdvisor sales and marketing experts.
