Richard Lloyd, one of the UK’s most experienced B2B data specialists, is to join Information Arts in the next fortnight as head of data. He will particularly drive the development and global sales of Information Arts’ database OMNI.
Lloyd has more than two decades of experience, having achieved success at top names including Dunn and Bradstreet (D&B), Experian and most recently taking charge of leading InfoUK’s rapid and effective entry into the UK B2B market.
The new appointment will boost Information Arts’ reputation both in the UK and globally. Lloyd has contributed to books including Best Practice Guide to email Marketing and Handbook of B2B Marketing, as well as playing a role on the IDM B2B Council and regularly commenting in the press. He will work across all of Information Arts’ clients, including brands such as Dell, Vodafone and Shell.
Simon Lawrence, CEO, Information Arts, said: “I have known Richard for a number of years and worked alongside him at Experian, so I’m thrilled he’ll be joining Information Arts at this dynamic and exciting point in the company’s development. His personal attributes of being enterprising, positive and a strong communicator will make him a brilliant addition to the team. I am confident he will make a big difference to the sales of data and data services from OMNI.”
Richard Lloyd (pictured) added: “Information Arts has built an impressive reputation up over the last ten years. I’m excited about joining the company at this key time and getting stuck into the new challenge.”
