Polish firm cleans up mobile data

August 23rd, 2010 · No Comments

Poland-based firm, Directan, has introduced a data cleaning system for both the Polish market and internationally.

The system remotely checks the status of mobile phone numbers, without inconveniencing the user. Among its services, the system can check whether the number is live, connected, has been switched off and whether it has been registered with a Telephone Preference Service.

Directan says its Data Clean system increases the productivity of call centres and any company using mobile numbers for telemarketing or SMS campaigns.

agnieszka-chappenden-webGeneral director Agnieszka Chappenden (pictured) said: “Using cleaned data significantly reduces staff costs by allowing them use of only good numbers. More than half of dialling time is spent waiting on numbers that are either dead or switched off.

“When purchasing data lists we allow clients to pre-clean them, therefore they can negotiate better rates when buying data.”

She added that the cost of sending messages can be lowered by removing inactive, invalid and fake numbers.

The service covers many countries and has 100 per cent coverage across Europe, the Americas and Asia.

Chappenden added: “As a list broker, we can also offer a combined service of purchasing data and having it pre-cleaned.”
